I am very thrilled to have come upon the Speechwriters for two reasons.
1) As cliched as it sounds, they are an awesome band and I am delighted to have discovered them as I have discovered so many bands through the Internet Archive.
2) I am going to Scripps College next year and I would like to do work-study at the Motley. As it so happens, I usually get music from the net labels and I randomly clicked on this show hoping to find something good. To stumble upon something performed at your own college on such a huge website is amazing & I thank the Internet Archive again for existing and restoring my faith in Internet music.

Great times at the Motley
Speechwriters LLC are a duo singer/songwriters from Pomona / Claremont, CA (20 miles east of Los Angeles). They make awesome music, as evident by this show. This show is chock full of new songs and you'll be a fan after one listen to this show. They just finished working on their new album that will come out in August 2004. They also just put up their first music video on their site. Dave and Mischa will rock your socks. support them in whatever way you can!

I think this concert is even better than Beantown. Sound quality, performance, song selection are all terrific and the crowd sounds really into it. This show is a must-have!
